Texture, value, shape, composition...collage is the perfect art technique to explore ideas. Finding inexpensive art materials is always helpful. Recycling printed matter is a must today.
Some pretty neat stuff on here. I especially love the first piece.
I actually have no idea how to email anyone on this site, I'm not even sure if that's possible, so I'm sending you a message here. I saw a post you had left back in May on another blogger's page. You had mentioned that your husband's father had owned Crescent Soda company. Wow! I'm the stage manager for a young theatre company in Camden, NJ, and I just had something I wanted to ask you about it. Could you, if you've got the time, email me at achambers1220@gmail.com so I can explain it better. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much!
Patricia, I have heard about de Chardin, thank you for the reminder. I opened a site and having read ". . . who spent the bulk of his life trying to integrate religious experience with natural science, most specifically Christian theology with theories of evolution" I think I need to read his stuff. Maybe you have a recommendation for what to start with?

The top one is my fave too. Very effective.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you both feel as I do that the first is a winner. I love the subtle design and repetition of verticals.
ReplyDeleteLovely new profile pic.
